A red triangle with a white interior frames the black silhouette of a basic wine glass shape that has a jagged lightning bolt as is a piece missing. “Life” is written in a jagged purple graffiti-style on the right side of the triangle. Beneath that is the word "is" in white stencil type. Below that is the word "BORROWED" in a rounded blue graffiti-style script. There are several overlapping grey tombstones scattered about and receding into the lower right corner of the piece with the letters "WED" falling into the graves. The background looks like a swirling explosion of colors including yellow, black, and rusty reddish-brown.

The ceramic piece is left unglazed and free of any detail except for its own basic form which contrasts with the real-life natural setting of the pumpkins. The pumpkins are atop a reddish wood chipped ground where all has been placed and photographed (in situ).

In the lower eyelid's black eyelashes is the word "BROKEN".
