The City of Los Angeles, Department on Disability is pleased to announce that the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Program has officially reopened and is now accepting applications.
This program provides and delivers free durable medical equipment to City residents for in-home use, with a priority given to individuals experiencing homelessness and those with limited income.
To apply for the Durable Medical Equipment program, visit the Durable Medical Equipment Program Request Form or click the "Apply Now" button below.
We’re excited to share that the program has been expanded to include forehead thermometers, glucose monitors, pulse oximeters, and blood pressure monitors! To apply for a personal monitoring device, please submit the Remote Personal Monitoring Device Request Form.
