The City of Los Angeles is updating its Citywide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan.
As part of this process, the City is reviewing its programs, services, activities, facilities, and information to identify barriers that may affect people with disabilities. This includes looking at physical accessibility, communication access, digital accessibility, policies, procedures, and how City programs and services are provided.
The Self-Evaluation will help the City identify what is working well and where accessibility improvements are needed. Based on the findings, the City will update its Transition Plan to identify steps for addressing accessibility barriers, setting priorities, and tracking progress over time.
Public input is an important part of this process. The City is asking community members, people with disabilities, caregivers, advocates, and organizations led by and for people with disabilities to share their experiences with City of Los Angeles programs, services, activities, facilities, and information.
Your feedback will help the City identify and prioritize accessibility needs and opportunities for improvement.
